As an apparel brand, ONDO’s socks are the first of its kind to use innovative fabrics traceable

from seed to sewn, made with the highest-quality craftsmanship, and committed to ethical

manufacturing from suppliers with proven track records. Its thoughtful design helps you style

from head to toe. ONDO represents a modern city lifestyle with the quirks and dashes of

the opposite that make life interesting. Both warm and cool, ONDO creates a feeling.

 

Founded by Asian Americans, ONDO means ‘temperature’ in Asian languages.

I collaborated closely with the founders and the team to create its brand identity and translated

it seamlessly to print materials, digital marketing assets, and its website.

Distinct Logotype

I established the core brand identity elements, including a custom logotype. The middle of the logo

subtly evokes the image of a thermometer and reinforces the connection to temperature and feelings.

The san serif logotype conveys a sense of timelessness and sophistication.

Colors claim the spotlight

To resonate with the brand’s messaging, the color theme is both warm and cool, conveying

an inspiring and memorable feeling. This helps the brand to reinforce its representation of a modern

city lifestyle. The dynamic shapes inspired by the logo are key elements depicted throughout

the brand’s visuals.

Photography style

By pairing the bold color pallette with clean and sophisticated photography, we visually captured

an interesting contrast that inspires life.

Digital content creation

The goal was to highlight the product advantages and to represent a modern lifestyle, which helped

spread brand awareness, create a community, and increase website traffic. It was also important

to visually stand out from competitors’ digital content.

Redesigning Shopify Website

While the website was redesigned to be visually consistent with the brand identity, its goal

was to make browsing and purchases as simple and clear as possible.
